Miss Motors United Kingdom 2010  – Clare Greene

Wow what an amazing year I’ve had so far winning Miss Motors United Kingdom. When I entered the pageant I had no idea that I would win, it was a complete shock when my name was called. Earlier last year I had entered Miss Liverpool 2010 & getting through to final 10 girls I felt much more confident & ambitious to win the next pageant I entered.

The prizes for winning the competition were:

Modelling Contract with Static Management

The main prize for winning was to compete in the International World Final of Miss Motors, held in Rome Italy. The competition consisted of 2 weeks of touring round Italy, Photo shoots, Beach shoots, Modelling for top brands such as Ferrari, Harley Davidson, Silvian Heach and Dolci Tami, 1 of 8 girls to be interviewed on the Italian news, Fashion shows for Italian Designer ‘Michelle’, Videos for ‘Miss Planet Beach Spokes model’ & of course attending lots of high profile events and parties.

During the competition I was heard singing by a woman called Caroline Bernier ( Former Miss World & Pageant organiser) , I was then chosen to sing live on Italian television during the world final, I performed my acoustic version of the song ‘Imagine’ by the Beatles. I felt so lucky and privileged to have been chosen. One of my best assets of the trip was getting to meet Caroline, she was such an inspirational woman and I still keep in touch with her now. I am really grateful for having the opportunity as I made friends who I will keep for life on the trip and that are an amazing thing.

Through winning Miss Motors UK 2010 I have been given so many fantastic opportunities and have met so many valuable contacts in the modelling world. On returning from Italy I have been invited to attend many A-list parties and exciting events, one which I really enjoyed was the Mobo’s, as I got to meet so many useful contacts in the music world which will hopefully help me with my singing career. I have judged at the ‘Miss Motors’ heats in Liverpool and the ‘Miss World Dreams United Kingdom’ final alongside a panel of other title holders and top people in the fashion world.

The future

I have recently been selected to model for Formula 1 racing in Monaco and work at some fabulous events & even more excitingly Invited to attend the Cannes Film Festival in May so lots to look forwards to.
